Owner & Make Up Artist My very first job in cosmetics was behind the Lancome counter at the age of 17. I instantly fell in love with this industry and knew this was where I needed to be. After 3 years with the company and working my way up to management I realized there were many different roads to take within the industry. An opportunity to work for Chanel as a makeup artist on their team of traveling specialists was offered to me and I decided to take it. At the age of 20, I was truly working in my dream job. For many years, I worked for Chanel mostly in Bloomingdales, Saks, Neimans and the Chanel Boutiques throughout the Boston area. Makeup artistry became my passion. After having my first child and needing more flexibility in my schedule, I decided to be a freelance makeup artist. I continued to work for Chanel but was also doing work for other lines such as Trish McEvoy, Nars, YSL and Shu Uemura, most of my work being at Barneys New York. With 20 years behind me in an exciting industry doing a job that I love, and 3 kids in school, I decided to go for my dream and open the beauty cafe. I have created the beauty cafe to be a place where you can come and shop for your favorite high quality beauty brands without any pretense. I wanted to create a relaxing, fun environment since shopping for beauty products shouldn't feel like surgery. Whether you have come to quietly poke around or you need some serious beauty advice, we are there to accommodate you. The staff is trained on every product in the store. Each of them comes with years of experience, knowledge and love of the industry. We are all excited to share our knowledge with you. |

Rita is our award winning, resident esthetician at the beauty cafe. She brings 28 years of cosmetic retail experience to the store. Rita has been a practicing esthetician and skincare specialist for 12 years. Her unique facials and vast knowledge make the spa at the beauty cafe a place of relaxation and rejuvenation. |
